My name is Kamari, and I'm originally from Chicago, though I've moved throughout Illinois and beyond. My first introduction to art came from watching my siblings color in jumbo coloring books and having sketching competitions with my brother—experiences that planted the seed for my lifelong pursuit of art. Life has always required me to adapt to new environments, and I've brought that same flexibility to my artistic practice. I love moving between different mediums and applications, constantly exploring what resonates with me in the moment.

Art is the most forgiving space I know. Mistakes aren't failures—they're part of the process, and that's exactly why I create. The canvas never judges me or tells me I'm wrong. It simply accepts what I offer.

Beyond being something I enjoy, art has become a form of therapy. It provides a quiet refuge in a loud world and a peace that transcends explanation.
